You have to acknowledge that everyone and their brother has a Facebook page these days which makes the whole thing pretty pedestrian. Even Dick has one and that's saying something considering his idea of social networking is attending a dinner party with a book in his back pocket so he won't accidently end up talking to anyone. Still, the lack of a Facebook presence in my own life could account for why I'm feeling so old and tragically unhip lately. Maybe I should embrace trendy for a change. On the same day I'm told by a student that all I need to look like a witch is a pointy hat AND another kid spelled my (real) last name with a COW at the end instead of a COX. How do you correct that? "It's COCKS! COCKS, not COW." (He meant nothing by it. He can barely spell his own name.) And now Pedestrian!?!? What a day. Pedestrian?!?!
